Supporting Black Owned

This year we continued our efforts to support locally Black-owned businesses for both operational and facility support. We want to thank everyone who continues to donate to our organization to see that this is how we help build up community in North Omaha!

Honoring Our Elder: Marshall Taylor

This past summer we held a memorial service for one of our Founding Board members and owner of the historic Aframerican Bookstore, Marshall Taylor. We honor and miss you Brother Marshall! May your legacy live on thru us! - Please read this article about his contributions.

Our Facility as a Polling Site

Annually our facility is used as a polling site for both local and national elections. We want to thank all of the volunteers who help set up, take down signs and offer direction or storytelling while people stood in line.
